Our salesman did advise us to cover the display screen when parking in the sun as it is sensitive to heat and we did do it from Day 1 but the car eventually had to park in the sun daily for lack of parking space under the house porch. From the 8th year, the screen display began to fade and by the 10th year, impossible to see anything. Surfing AliExpress, a brand new compatible display unit is available for RM275 (not including transport cost) as above. There are other cheaper options but with less features e.g. no dual zone air-con setting and not 12 pin version. Looking at YouTube clips, it is also easy to install. I plan to invest in this unit in the future and have to start saving having just spent RM1000+ to do the 60K general servicing.
